Enzyme extraction for F&B industry from plants in climate-insecure regions
2016 - 2024
We built two green-field facilities in rural Kenya, grew the team from 2 to 30, and worked with dozens of research partners and suppliers to develop the crop production and biorefining systems needed to bring a new crop to the world.
I served as CTO and head of engineering.


A little sample UX/UI design for a time-management watch design.

A fun little gizmo coming from a week-long build. I used OpenSCAD to parametrically model the gears that cause this toy to squirm around in your hand.

The second project in IDE, the reverse-engineering of a Shark® Steam & Spray™ PRO floor cleaner. This reanimated physical exploded view now resides in the Shark Design Centre, London.
Taking it to pieces was the easy bit...

With protein demand set to double by 2050, tini is aimed toward tackling this problem at its source. This project involved experimentation with nutrient rich bacteria, gastronomy, and branding to help diversify our protein supply chain.
